Personal Data Breaches – Lessons Learned
13:00–14:00 10 July 2026
Members’ Room, Societe Jersiaise, 7 Pier Road, St Helier, JE2 4XW
Internal Breach Logs – what are they telling us?
This session dives into breach logs to gain a greater understanding and awareness of the causes of breaches along with the controls and preventative measures being deployed.
Data security is central to compliance with Jersey’s data protection regime. The value in reporting breaches comes from the lessons learned, and in a world where cybercrime is becoming more prevalent, data security frameworks should, by default, include measures to protect against cyber threats.
Let’s Go DPO is a support network from the JOIC giving Data Protection Officers and those that have responsibility for data protection the chance to network, identify and explore common experiences and engage with our office in a safe and confidential environment.
All are welcome at this session, which is free of charge.
Attendees can access the Members’ Room at Societe Jersiaise via Jersey Museum, The Weighbridge, St Helier, JE2 3NG or via Pier Road.
