Data Protection Guidance for Charities

Join us for this guidance session organised by the Association of Jersey Charities to understand your obligations under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 and how it helps maintain customer, staff and volunteer trust.

Data Protection legislation is in place to help ensure that when it comes to our personal data, all of us are provided with appropriate legal protections. The Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 applies to the public, private, charity and non-profit sectors and all organisations that process personal data must be registered with us, the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner.

As well as providing guidance about local data protection law, we'll be explaining more about the work of our office, followed by a Question and Answer session.

This event is free of charge and spaces are limited. To register, please click on this link which will redirect you from our website to the registration form set up by the Association of Jersey Charities, specifically for this event.
